2ND SHIFT DISPATCH COORDINATOR

MetroGistics, a fast-growing nationwide automotive logistics company based in St Louis, is looking for a motivated, assertive, self-starter that can help support all facets of our operation.

This person must be willing to learn all aspects of our business and embrace a dynamic environment.  Please note:  This position does require prior dispatch experience.  

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accepting inbound and making outbound calls to carriers.
  • Getting status updates on vehicles shipped.
  • Working with our accounting department to ensure proper pricing.
  • Analyzing reports to find delinquencies in paperwork.
  • Working in our transportation management system to dispatch vehicles to carriers. 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Call customer locations to see if vehicles have arrived.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Must strive for accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must be an excellent problem solver and have exceptional time management skills.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience in a call center environment desired.
  • Prior experience working with CargoTel software is desired.
  • Minimum of GED or HS Degree required.

Schedule: This position is a second shift position, working evening and weekend hours.  Relocation assistance is available. 

Salary Range: Total target compensation of up to $50k per year, including monthly bonus opportunities, based on experience.
