Scott Naz founded MetroGistics with co-owner William Billiter in June 2010. Scott's career has been focused within the vehicle transportation marketplace for the last 10 years with experience on the 3rd party, asset, broker, and technology sides of the business. Over the 10 year span he has held positions within operations, sales, business development, and technology. From 2007 he has primarily focused efforts on business development functions working as the business development director of both JMN Logistics and AutoTransMart. Prior roles at Insight Network Logistics and ShipCarsNow were more focused on the operations side of the business.
Scott comes from a long line of entrepreneurs with his dad in the manufacturing business, his grandfather in the insurance business and uncle a venture capitalist. Honesty, integrity, and trust have been the pillars of Scott's life. He is always looking out for the health and well-being of family, friends, employees, customers and suppliers. Today Scott wears multiple hats within MetroGistics focusing efforts on revenue growth, business strategy, technology advancements and of course profitability. Scott is dedicated to making sure customers and vendors are treated in a manner that drives positive relationships and he is committed to community involvement and service.
Scott is a graduate of Central Michigan University's business school and a former Chippewa football player. He enjoys time with his family, friends and his golden retriever Kash outside of work.

William Billiter founded MetroGistics with co-owner Scott Naz in June 2010. William's career in the vehicle transportation industry started in 1997 as a driver for a large wholesale operation in St. Louis. He had an opportunity to expand his role into the operations manager position where he excelled. From operations manager he was eventually promoted to General Manager, heading up one of the largest vehicle transportation companies in the US with over $25 million in annual revenues.
William's job duties included business development, sales, federal motor carrier compliance and operations which eventually led into the lead executive position. From 1999 to 2005 he served as the Director of Operations for JMN Transportation taking the top spot in 2006 as the General Manager. William increased revenue from $275,000 in 2000 to over $25 million in 2009. William also founded AutoTransMart in 2009 and served as the company's vice president through May of 2010. William was named to the St. Louis Business Journal`s prestigious 40 Under 40 class for 2012.
Today William still works multiple roles inside of MetroGistics and Metro Auto Express. He is committed to providing the best possible experience to customers, employees and vendors.
William attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis and enjoys spending time with friends and family. William is married and has two step sons, and in his free time enjoys spending time at the family property with his family and two dogs.
David R. Larson, Executive Vice President, Business Development/Sales Partner, joined MetroGistics in June 2015. Prior to joining MetroGistics, Dave most recently worked for Jack Cooper Holdings, where he was vice president of Europe and Asia. His previous experience also includes serving as senior vice president, business development, with United Road; director of business development with both Axis Group and The Pasha Group; and logistics manager with Kia Motors America.

Angela Lynn-Billiter - Angela Lynn-Billiter - Office Manager, has been working on the accounting / AR / AP side of business for over 22 years. She has grown into handling a very critical role at MetroGistics heading up all accounting / AP / AR and office manager duties. Her career experiences across dealerships, transportation companies and wholesale operations has made her a superb addition to the MetroGistics staff. She not only brings a great attitude to the office but her expertise within the industry is second to none.
She loves to spend time at home with family, friends and her pets. She is avid about the outdoors and enjoys spending time at the family property with her two sons, husband and dogs.
Jeremy Cope joined MetroGistics in October of 2011. Jeremy's career has been focused within the vehicle transport and logistics field for the last 12 years. He started out driving an auto hauler and worked his way through the ranks to director of operations. Cope brings his 12 years of experience to the Metro team and will oversee several areas within the operations department including the asset side, logistics group, dispatching, key accounts, aging, and track and trace. He will also supervise the quality assurance team making true to our promises of excellent customer and carrier service.
Outside of work Jeremy enjoys spending time with his friends and family. Jeremy is married and has two daughters and likes to stay active playing softball.
Dustin Ruch, following in his family footsteps joined the automotive sector in 2009. His family has been primarily focused on vehicle sales, so Dustin’s jump into vehicle logistics was a natural fit. Before joining MetroGistics in July 2010 as Operations Manager he held prior positions on the sales side the business. Dustin’s drive, determination and work ethic has led him to his current position as Director of Business Development. His responsibilities include growing all facets of operations including quality assurance, technology, and account strategy. He is also linked into the sales team, driving top line revenues for the company. His expertise and understanding of the vehicle logistics marketplace drives efficiencies every day for the organization. Dustin graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Webster University in St. Louis where he was also a member of the golf team competing on a national level. Today Dustin continues to play golf and also enjoys water skiing on the weekend, spending time with his wife Laura and their dog Bailey.
Martha Garcia-Perry, joined MetroGistics in April of 2013. As Director of Account Management, she will be responsible for ensuring that MetroGistics' customers consistently experience a high level of service, and for delivering on the company's promise to make the entire vehicle shipping experience simple, easy and hassle-free. She will also work with clients, the sales team and management to uncover business needs and objectives, craft appropriate strategies, and implement process improvements to help surpass client expectations.
Martha brings more than 12 years of business management and logistics industry experience. After graduating from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing logistics, she joined Insight Network Logistics of Auburn Hills, Mich., as a manager of vehicle shipments. Her career progression in the company led to the position of senior manager, regional operations, where she proactively managed the day-to-day distribution of Chrysler's finished vehicle delivery network throughout the Southeast.
Her diverse experience and skill set includes transportation management, logistics and distribution, project management, Web and computer technologies, training and development, operations management, strategic planning, and process improvements. She embraces challenges, process improvements, and applying creative solutions to achieve desired business results.
Martha enjoys hiking, running and spending time with her husband, son and two daughters. A goal of hers is to one day run the Detroit International Marathon with her husband Scott.
Kelly Brda joined MetroGistics in May of 2013, bringing with her over 27 years of automotive experience and knowledge. After graduating from business college, Kelly worked for her father’s Ford dealership, and was heavily involved with every facet of the business. She later spent 10 years in the accounting department of a large Chevrolet dealership. She honed her expertise by spending the past 15 years as an office manager for an automotive wholesaler, pioneering all of their operating systems and streamlining their processes. Kelly is dedicated, proficient, and has a keen eye for detail. Her understanding of logistics and accounting make her a vital asset.
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, three grandchildren, and a Cockapoo named Remi. She also enjoys travel, cooking and playing golf with her husband.
Craig Clayton, the Director of Information Technology, joined MetroGistics in July of 2013. Craig has over 11 years of extensive IT management experience and has been a leader in the healthcare, financial, and K12 education spaces.
A graduate of Murray State University, Craig studied Telecommunications Systems Management focusing his studies in Database Design, Web Application Development, and Information Security. Before joining MetroGistics, he most recently served as the Director of Information Services for one of the largest school districts in greater Nashville. Craig has previously served as the Chief Technology Officer of AmeriFlex, a large third-party health benefits administrator as well as the Director of Information Technology for the former healthcare division of First Horizon. One of Craig's primary responsibilities is the design and implementation of industry-leading technology-driven solutions. He will oversee the development of new mobile and web applications that support our clients. He will also continue to grow and support the core technical infrastructure of MetroGistics.
Craig enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, wakeboarding, and rooting for his favorite sports programs - the Kentucky Wildcats and St. Louis Cardinals.
Adam Laura joined MetroGistics in April of 2014. As Director of Strategic Accounts, Adam will be responsible for maintaining relationships with key customer accounts as well as developing and growing MetroGistics' customer portfolio.
His expertise in the vehicle shipping industry and his acute focus on customer service will help MetroGistics continue to build on its strong logistics and technology offerings.
Being from the Motor City, Adam has spent his professional career in the automotive industry. He began his career with TNT Logistics upon graduating from Central Michigan University with a double major in Logistics Management and Marketing. For the past 10 years Adam has worked for 2 subsidiaries of Union Pacific Railroad: Insight Network Logistics and ShipCarsNow. He has held leadership positions in Network Analysis, Operations, Procurement, Account Management and Business Development. Adam is a firm believer that hard work, dedication and a positive attitude are key elements to a successful business.
Outside of work Adam enjoys staying active by playing golf, basketball, running and most importantly spending time with his wife Nicole, son Joshua, daughter Olivia and dog Murphy. He is also an avid sports fan with a strong rooting interest in the Michigan Wolverines and all Detroit Pro Sports teams.
Jeff Naz was one of the very first employees when he joined MetroGistics in July of 2010. Since that time he has, in one way or another, worked in every facet of the company, starting as a dispatcher and continually working his way up. Jeff is currently our National Account Manager and is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with key customer accounts while helping develop the MetroGistics presence and reputation in the industry.
Following in his brother's footsteps, Jeff graduated from Central Michigan University in 2010 with a Logistics and Marketing degree, and served as an intern at Ryder Systems in their Freight Billing and Audit department. Logistics has always been a considerable interest of his, and this interest brought him to MetroGistics.
Outside of work, Jeff enjoys staying as active as possible playing multiple sports. He is a self-diagnosed sports junkie with all Detroit sports teams being at the top of the list. Jeff also has had a life-long love for the water after growing up, and continuing to live on, the Great Lakes.
Melissa Trautman, Process Improvement Manager, started with MetroGistics in September 2012 after working for a few years as a military relocation specialist for a local household goods mover. Though her background was with various local computer resellers, she started with us as an Insurance Analyst, and became Technology Development Manager after we began creating more tech tools for our carriers and clients. Melissa is now Process Improvement Manager, and is responsible for streamlining and perfecting our processes and procedures to help us work more efficiently and effectively. Melissa also serves as the company "cheerleader", overseeing our employee recognition and engagement programs.
Outside of work, Melissa likes reading, writing and traveling. She loves spending time with her husband Eric and their four-legged "son", a boxer pit bull mix named Brutus Jackson.
Sabrina Summers, Manager of Carrier Strategies, came to MetroGistics in October of 2012, and began as an assistant in our accounting department. Her calm and caring demeanor helped her efficiently take care of many different kinds of customers, and she quickly proved that she would be extremely effective and valuable in a larger role. In April of 2014, she became Manager, Carrier Strategies; an unprecedented position in our industry. In this role, Sabrina serves as the voice of our carrier network within MetroGistics, advocating for them and ensuring that they are familiar and comfortable with our technology and procedures. Sabrina loves dealing with people and providing great customer service to both her colleagues and our carriers.
Before joining MetroGistics, Sabrina was with St. Louis Community College as a trade book coordinator, and she continues to keep in touch with many of the good the friends she made there. When she's not working, Sabrina enjoys spending as much time as she can with her son Owen, family and friends and loves being outdoors as much as possible.
Shelly Lynn, Accounts Receivable Manager, started working in the automotive industry, alongside her sister Angie and mother Sharon, while she was still in high school. She was the top accounts receivable warranty claims rep in the country for Chevrolet while working for a local dealership. Though very successful, Shelly left the industry for about 10 years to focus on starting a family and running her own business - a state licensed day care. She was encouraged to come back to auto transportation and joined MetroGistics in September 2010.
In her free time, Shelly enjoys spending time with her family; 3 daughters, 1 son, a husband and 2 dogs named Lyla and Cookie. Shelly and her husband Dusty are actively involved with the kids' events and spend as much time as they can attending dance competitions, climbing events, soccer and basketball games - and the list goes on. She and her family also enjoy trips to the park, the zoo and just hanging out in the family pool.
